Oil Guyz pickup is free for restaurants, food trucks, ghost kitchens, hotels, casinos, stadiums, schools, and any commercial kitchen producing used cooking oil. No setup fees, no service charges, no surprise invoices. Higher-volume kitchens producing 300+ gallons of used cooking oil per month may qualify for our rebate program — contact our team to learn more. Kitchens producing less than 300 gallons per month do not currently qualify for rebates, but the pickup service stays free. Either way, you get a clean container, a digital manifest on every pickup, and zero expense.
No. We operate on a month-to-month basis with every single customer. There is no long-term contract, no cancellation fee, and no early termination penalty. We believe the only way to keep your business is to earn it on every pickup. If you ever decide to stop service, give us a call — our customer service team will either fix the problem on the spot or close out your account with no fee. Many of our customers came to us specifically because they were trapped in a bad contract with another hauler. We never want you to feel stuck.
We offer weekly, biweekly, and on-demand pickup schedules depending on your kitchen volume. Most full-service restaurants with fryers running daily go with weekly service. Smaller kitchens or those with lower oil usage typically do well with biweekly. If you are not sure what frequency makes sense, we will help you figure it out during your first consultation based on the number of fryers you run and your average daily covers. You can also change your schedule at any time — just call or text us and we will adjust it starting the following week.
Call or text us and we will dispatch a driver for an emergency pickup within four hours. Overflow situations happen, especially during busy holiday weeks or catering events, and we take them seriously because an overflowing grease bin is both a health code risk and an environmental hazard. Our emergency service is available seven days a week. If overflow becomes a recurring issue, we will work with you to either increase your pickup frequency or upgrade your container to a larger size at no additional charge so you have the capacity you need.

Every hauler in the Oil Guyz network operates under an active California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) Inedible Kitchen Grease transporter license, carries full commercial liability and pollution insurance, and is trained on CDFA manifest requirements and proper handling. Every pickup generates a digital CDFA-compliant manifest that meets 3 CCR Title 3 Section 1180. When a health inspector or CDFA auditor asks for your grease records, the full audit trail is one click away in your customer portal. Oil Guyz works only with licensed haulers in every market we operate so your kitchen stays compliant from your fryer to the final biorefinery.

No. We handle everything independently so you and your staff can focus on running the kitchen. Once we set up your first pickup and confirm bin placement, the driver knows exactly where to go and what to do on every subsequent visit. We pump the oil, clean the area around the container, secure the lid, and leave a confirmation receipt. You will also receive a digital notification when the pickup is complete. If your bin is behind a locked gate, we can work out key or code access during onboarding so there is never a delay.
Every pickup automatically generates a digital manifest that is stored in your online dashboard. You can log in anytime to view your full pickup history, download individual manifests, and pull compliance reports. Each manifest includes the date, time, volume collected, driver name, vehicle information, and destination facility — everything a health inspector or CDFA auditor would ask for. You also receive email confirmations after every visit. If you ever need records for a specific date range, you can export them as a PDF in about ten seconds from your dashboard.
